After our chauffer has picked you up directly from your hotel, you will travel from Munich to Rosenheim along Lake Chiemsee and the Chiemgau Alps directly to Salzburg.
During the trip south, the striking peaks of the Wendelstein and Hochfelln mountains will appear on the horizon. Once in Salzburg, you can discover Salzburg and wander through the historic old town either alone or with the accompaniment of our driver. Once there, you can look at the famous Getreidegasse passage, Mozart's birth home, the cathedral and the Franciscan church.
After the city tour we will drive you to one of the largest fortified castles in Europe, the Hohensalzburg Fortress! This was ruled for centuries by prince-bishops and draws visitors from all over the world, not only during the Salzburg Festival. From here you can enjoy the beautiful view of Salzburg.
Towards the end of the trip, visit the Hellbrunn Palace just outside the city of Salzburg with its fascinating water fountains. The tour ends with a walk through the beautiful Mirabellpark.
On the way back you can visit other attractions near Salzburg, such as the Fuschl castle and the lake landscape around the Salzkammergut with the picturesque Wolfgangsee lake, before returning to Munich.
